Job Summary:
The UX Design Consultant will work closely with the Product and Development teams to create an intuitive, efficient, and enjoyable experience for our users. Your primary focus will be on understanding our user needs and translating those into wireframes, prototypes, and design mockups.
Responsibilities:
Conduct user research, interviews, and surveys to gain insights into user behavior and needs.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement innovative solutions for product direction, visuals, and user experience.
Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows, and site maps to communicate interaction and design ideas effectively.
Perform usability testing and gather feedback to continually refine the user experience.
Create pixel-perfect mockups and UI elements in line with our branding guidelines.
Work with front-end developers to implement designs.
Evaluate existing applications for UX effectiveness, identifying areas for improvement and proposing solutions.
Keep abreast of competitor products and industry trends to ensure the product remains competitive.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in UX Design, Interaction Design, or related field.
A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in UX Design, ideally in B2B or dealership environments.
Portfolio showcasing a strong track record in creating effective user-centered design solutions.
Proficient in design software such as Sketch, Adobe XD, Figma, or similar.
Strong knowledge of user-centered design principles and practices.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
A team player who can also work independently to meet deadlines.
Preferred Skills:
Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript.
Experience with A/B testing tools.
Knowledge of the truck dealership industry is a plus
