Description of the offer

Indigov is searching for a Contractor to join the team on a part-time basis to support new feature developments, enhancements, and bug fixes for customer websites/CMS. The initial scope of this contract is for approximately 1 month of work; however, based on the quality of work contract has potential to be extended.

Requirements:

• Strong Node.js, Next.js, Strapi CMS, TypeScript knowledge and experience
• Strong experience with WordPress
• Experience with developing and consuming APIs – REST as well as GraphQL
• Basic database knowledge (MySQL preferably), and cloud hosting knowledge (AWS preferably)
• Experience with standard set of developer tools and processes: github and git workflows, JIRA etc
• Nice to have: Experience with Meilisearch
• 5+ years experience as a web developer, capable of working independently, and be able to commit to and deliver on deadlines
• Good communication skills

This is a remote project, but not an async project- you should be available on Slack on weekdays, and be able to get on Zoom calls (about once a week in most cases) with the internal QA team, project managers, and dev team as required.

Timeline and Hiring Process:

Indigov is looking for qualified candidates to start a 1 month contract immediately. Candidates must undergo an abbreviated interview process prior to hire. All candidates must provide references upon request, and conduct a basic criminal background check prior to hire.
