Quine is a London-based deep-tech startup building a platform to help open-source developers monetise their time and experience.

Our team is comprised of software engineers, ML scientists and experienced product operators. We’re venture-backed by some of Europe’s leading VCs.

We are looking to bolster our design team with a highly driven individual who can help us craft the user experience, brand and visual identity of the platform.

 

About the role

The ideal candidate has a knack for start-ups and loves a fast-paced environment, where product decisions are taken swiftly. The Product Designer will work closely with our Head of Product and be responsible for building the core product on web and mobile, iterating and expanding upon the design system, and helping craft the brand and visual identity of Quine.

While we’re open to a variety of backgrounds, we believe this role would suit someone who enjoys working at the 0→1 stage of product building and is a UX-first designer.

 

Basic Requirements

⇒ 3+ years of experience in product design, with a strong portfolio of UX/UI work.

⇒ Demonstrable success in developing and launching products to market.

⇒ Exceptional eye for detail and crafting consistent experiences across platforms.

⇒ Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.

⇒ Strong interpersonal communication, relationship management and organisational skills.

⇒ Experience in talking to users, and synthesising user-research data into well-connected and frictionless UX flows.

⇒ Experienced with market standard tooling – Figma/Sketch and Zeplin.

 

Nice to have

⇒ Background in Design, Interaction Design, or Human-Computer Interaction.

⇒ Experience in creating animations and illustrations from scratch.

⇒ Experience in running focused user research interviews to isolate product pain points and come up with iterative solutions.
