Senior Product Designer

Type of job: Remote
Country: United States
City: California
Company: CoreWeave

Description of the offer

CoreWeave is seeking a talented and creative Senior Product Designer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be at the intersection of design and user experience, playing a crucial part in shaping the look and feel of CoreWeave’s user interfaces. Your primary focus will be on developing intuitive and aesthetically pleasing UI designs while also engaging deeply with user feedback to ensure our products are not only visually appealing but also highly functional and user-friendly.

As a Product Designer at CoreWeave, you will have the unique opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects, from crafting the visual aspects of all facets of our cloud application to conducting user research. Your role will be a hybrid of hands-on design work and interactive feedback sessions with users, enabling you to directly influence the usability and user satisfaction of our products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • UI Design: Create engaging and intuitive user interfaces for CoreWeave’s web and mobile platforms. Develop visual elements, including layout, typography, and color palettes, ensuring a cohesive and branded experience across all platforms.
  • User Feedback: Actively engage with users to gather feedback, understand their needs, and incorporate this input into your design work. Facilitate user testing sessions and interpret results to make data-driven design improvements.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure design vision is aligned with product goals and technical constraints.
  • Prototyping and Validation: Develop and iterate on wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes. Validate designs through user testing and feedback to ensure solutions meet user needs and expectations.
  • Design Advocacy: Serve as an advocate for design excellence within CoreWeave, promoting the importance of user-centered design principles and best practices.
  • Continuous Improvement: Keep abreast of the latest trends in UI/UX design and user feedback methodologies, continuously refining your approach and techniques.

Wondering if you’re a good fit? We believe in investing in our people, and value candidates who can bring their own diversified experiences to our teams – even if you aren’t a 100% skill or experience match. Here are a few qualities we’ve found compatible with our team. If some of this describes you, we’d love to talk.

  •  5+ years of experience in UI/UX design, preferably in a tech or cloud-based environment.
  •  A strong portfolio showcasing expertise in UI design and a deep understanding of user-centered design principles.
  • Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, or similar.
  • Understanding of frontend technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, bonus: React).
  • Experience conducting user research and translating insights into design decisions.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field is preferred.

The base pay for this position ranges from $175,000/year up to $190,000/year. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
