The role

As our Senior Credit Risk Analyst, you have a great analytical mind with strong business acumen and experience in risk-based products. The Senior Credit Risk Analyst will measure risk and manage the operational implementation of risk policy, e.g. applicant underwriting, internal risk models, and selection and integration of third-party risk products. You have a solid understanding of SQL and like playing with huge data sets, distilling insights and ways of thinking about the future.

What you’ll do

  • Perform credit analyses to develop recommendations that improve new customer underwriting (approve/decline, credit line assignment and pricing)

  • Perform credit analyses to drive customer management strategies (credit line increase & decrease, retention, repricing etc.)

  • Drive product innovation by improving product approval rates within risk tolerances

  • Establish a strong credit risk management platform reliant on data science and readiness planning

  • Improving and maintaining company credit policy to determine how to underwrite businesses

  • Flagging areas of need related to fraud risk and implementing third-party data solutions to help us combat application fraud

What you’ll need

  • 5+ years directly related experience of risk for SMB and commercial credit

  • Experience supporting risk and/or compliance-related activities in a financial services operating environment

  • Ability to perform analyses with a high degree of autonomy and accuracy

  • Strong technical skills – SQL and/or other databases

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, statistics, finance or related field or equivalent experience

  • Ability to work cross-functionally with sales, customer support, compliance, partnerships team and other Resolve teams

  • Strong communication skills across a variety of audiences

  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, written communication, and presentation skills

Bonus points

  • Experience in fintech or financial services

  • Experience in the manufacturing, wholesaler, or supply chain industry

  • Experience in startups

  • The United States base range for this position is $135,000 – $160,000 annually, plus equity
