Sales Development Representative

Type of job: Remote
Country: Canada
City: Vancouver
Company: Dribbble

Description of the offer

Founded in 2009, Dribbble is the top global community for designers and creative professionals and an inspiration destination for over a hundred million people every year. We’re empowering creatives around the world to make a living doing what they love. Our mission is to provide support at every stage of a creative’s journey; whether that’s freelancing, or being hired by some of the world’s leading design-forward companies.

With many jobs, you have to pick between having a huge impact on the organization (small team) or having a huge impact on the world (big product), but at Dribbble – you get to do both, as part of a highly collaborative team, working on one of the world’s top 1000 websites.

At Dribbble, we serve a global community and we need a diverse team to do that successfully. Women, people of colour, members of the LGBTQ+ community, individuals with disabilities, and veterans are strongly encouraged to apply. We provide an accessible candidate experience, and if you need any accommodations or adjustments throughout the interview process and beyond, please let us know. We’re dedicated to fostering an inclusive and diverse environment for employees from all walks of life.

We’re building a fully remote team across North America (Canada & the US). We believe that creative collaboration can happen anywhere, and that working remotely shouldn’t have to mean sacrificing a sense of cohesion, community, and connection. We’ve seen that by combining thoughtful collaboration, frequent communication, and the freedom for people to be their authentic selves, you can do your best work and inspire others to do the same.

About the role:

We’re looking for a self-starting & passionate Sales Development Representative to support in driving the growth of our student enrolment and promoting Dribbble Education. You’ll be students’ first point of contact and act as the voice of Dribbble Education. Your goal will be to jump on calls with qualified leads as soon as they enter your pipeline and take a high number of calls per day. You will actively engage with the potential student, going through a nurturing script and asking questions based on their application. Your role will be to help move the student through the admissions process, answer any questions over the phone, and qualify their commitment level to enrol in and complete the program. You will be given the right tools you need to move students through the pipeline quickly and be trained in effective ways to quell any concerns. Your enthusiasm for ed tech, excellent communication skills, and passion for helping students thrive in their design skills and launch successful careers in design will contribute to Dribbble’s success.

As a Sales Development Representative, you’ll be responsible for:

  • Proactively call qualified applicants of our Education courses and be their first point of contact setting the voice and tone for Dribbble Education & calling those who missed your initial outreach.
  • Holding a high volume of calls per day & pushing potential students on the other end of the call through the sales funnel by asking qualifying questions, discussing their design/career goals, and letting them know next steps.
  • Having input into admissions drip sequences to students who you’ve spoken with and students that did not pick up the first time.
  • Maintaining a healthy pipeline and forecast of active opportunities, and converting those opportunities into revenue to achieve your quota. You aim to go above and beyond your monthly quota for enrolments.
  • Working closely with our Marketing & Product team to suggest ways of driving potential students to book a call with you. You’ll report weekly on admissions stats to the team.
  • Embracing a data-driven approach, continuously analyzing outreach performance and refining strategies to maximize conversions and exceed targets.

We’re looking for:

  • Exceptional communication and persuasion skills. You have the ability to establish rapport and trust. You care about building strong and lasting relationships, and it shows in the way you communicate with care and precision.
  • Someone who’s excited and passionate about education. You are genuinely eager to help students start their journey of acquiring new skills and changing their lives.
  • Genuine enthusiasm for Dribbble and/or the design community. Together, we can foster a collaborative and vibrant environment where creativity thrives and design excellence is celebrated.
  • Someone who is able to work independently and create new processes. As we build our Education offering, you will work on a small team, utilizing your ability to self-start and lead processes.
  • Authenticity. You care about the students of our courses and want to make sure they have the best experiences as a Dribbble student. You approach your work without ego and focus on the success of the team.
  • Comfortable carrying a quota. You’re comfortable working towards and exceeding goals that align with your responsibilities and are motivated by success.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills. You are experienced in utilizing CRM tools to optimize sales processes, pipelines, and forecast tracking.
  • A proven track record. You have consistently maintained or exceeded your quotas in previous roles.

Benefits

At Dribbble, you’ll join a diverse team dedicated to learning, teaching, and growing; as individuals, as a team, as a business, and as a community. As a workplace, we pride ourselves on doing right by our employees, and have a benefits package that makes being a part of the Dribbble team a dream job and something to be really proud of:

  • 100% remote: so you can work where you feel most comfortable and inspired.

  • Celebrate: we observe both US and Canadian holidays – and a whole week of rest in December.
  • Family leave: paid time off for when your family grows.
  • Save up: put pre-tax savings into a 401k/RRSP – we’ll match a portion of your contributions.
  • Fitness fund: to help you feel your very best.
  • Equipment fund: so you can deck out your home office.
  • Monthly coffee budget: grab that latte – it’s on us.
  • Learning & development: keep growing with paid courses, books, and conferences.
