Sales Coordinator (Remote – US or CAN)

Type of job: Remote
Country: Canada
City: Toronto
Company: Kanopi

Description of the offer

Kanopi Studios is a Design, Development & Support Agency with a fully distributed team of people who are experts in Drupal & WordPress.

Our clients have a mission; we designbuild and support websites that help their mission thrive.

But we want our employees to thrive as well. Because our team members do great work for great clients, Kanopi works hard to support them in their careers as they continue to create a better web.

As a result, our business continues to grow, and so must our team. We’re excited to announce this opportunity to join our team as a Sales Coordinator.

As the Kanopi Studios Sales Coordinator, you will be working directly with the Sales Team, Sales Manager, other members of the Management Team, as well as the CEO. The Sales Coordinator’s main priority will be proactively supporting the sales department with all leads (new, existing, and current clients) as they travel through the sales funnel. This support includes anticipating the sales team’s needs, managing sales opportunity timelines, sending timely reminders to appropriate team members, ensuring that the sales team has easy and efficient access to client records and assets, as well as the preparation of Kanopi sales assets for punctual client delivery. You will draw upon your intuitive organizational skills as you manage all of the details involved with the sales process.

The Sales Coordinator position is fast-paced and requires the flexibility to deal with shifting priorities. Effective communication and superb organizational skills will be essential in this role.

Your typical work week might include:

  • Intake of all new leads into the sales funnel.
  • Monitoring the status of all existing leads and opportunities to ensure all timelines are met.
  • Managing & supporting the RFP response process through to contracting to ensure all deadlines are met.
  • Creation and management of all sales assets (i.e. proposals, presentations, contracts, etc.)
  • Researching, creating, and/or updating contacts in HubSpot.
  • Supporting Project Managers to ensure that current client opportunities and renewals are managed/closed promptly.
  • Support task management for the Sales Team.
  • Tracking key details of opportunities and managing data entry for monthly reporting.
  • Ensuring the accuracy of all sales assets (creation of templates/editing of templates).
  • Assisting in the overall process of making the company awesome by building repeatable patterns for success and happiness.
  • Collaborating with the Sales Team on process development and documentation to help with the efficiency and sustainability of the department.

This is a full-time position. The salary range for this position is $44,600 – $58,900 – the range is broad, but it is commensurate with experience, aligned with current members of our team with similar experience, and may shift a bit depending on your geographic location. This is a 100% remote role, but you must live and be able to work in the US or Canada.

We are looking for candidates who

  • Have proven experience as a sales coordinator in a high-velocity sales environment (5+ years) (agency experience is preferred).
  • Have impeccable verbal and written communication skills, including problem-solving and handling objections.
  • Are self-motivated, goal-driven, and a success-oriented team player.
  • Demonstrate superior organizational and time management skills.
  • Have exceptional attention to detail and a willingness to ask questions to help others gain clarity.
  • Are committed to delivering high-quality work on time.
  • Can stay calm, positive, and solutions-oriented in high-pressure situations.
  • Can juggle multiple, often competing, priorities and know when to ask for help.
  • Have expertise using Adobe Suite, Google Suite, Hubspot, and Teamwork.
  • Are committed to continual learning and personal development.
  • Have an interest in working with an awesome remote team, and building cool open-source software projects.

At Kanopi, we believe a variety of backgrounds, experiences, and voices make for a better workplace. We strongly and enthusiastically encourage people of color, individuals who identify within and beyond the LGBTQ+ spectrum, women, and people with disabilities to apply.
