Risk Correspondent – Digital

Description of the offer

Bank of Valletta p.l.c. is seeking to recruit a Digital Risk Correspondent within the Digital Presence section under the responsibility of the Chief Digital Officer.

The Risk Correspondent acts as the business risk management champion to ensure that all risk and regulatory requirements for the Digital area are delivered in accordance with BOV risk policies / frameworks. This is a critical first line of defence role supporting business executives in understanding the business risk profile and facilitating corrective actions to ensure that risk is maintained within risk appetite.

What will you be doing?

· Work with all the Digital areas to embed the Bank’s risk/compliance management processes within the remit of the Chief Digital Officer.

· Work with Risk and Compliance departments to ensure that risk and compliance assessments are conducted regularly.

· Create and track action plans where a control requires improvement or has failed testing.

· Develop KRI measures for the Digital area and providing results to Risk and Compliance departments monthly, in accordance with agreed deadlines.

· Provide training and support to the Digital area on risk reporting requirements.

What should you have?

• At least three (3) years previous experience in an Audit, Risk or Compliance environment;
• A good track record of working and liaising effectively with business/support users at different levels of seniority.

Preference will be given to applicants:

• Having experience of implementing risk management processes and risk mitigation strategies;
• In possession of an MQF Level 6 Degree in Risk Management or related area;
• In possess of qualifications in Risk Management.
