Production Assistant

Description of the offer

We are a Barcelona-based producer called Camping who are looking for audiovisual pre-production and production support in Costa Rica, San Jose and the surrounding areas from as soon as possible (December 2022), until the end of February 2023. The contract will be part time (with some full-time days during shooting in February).

The successful candidate will be a production assistant or runner with 2 years experience working on productions in Costa Rica, and available at least part time during January and February 2023.

Please do not apply unless you have significant local knowledge of Costa Rica and audiovisual production there. Responsibilities include:
– driving
– scheduling
– location scouting and permissions
– hiring equipment and finding places to stay for the Spanish crew.

It is essential that you can drive, and are comfortable driving for work in both San Jose city and the rural areas of Costa Rica.

We are looking for someone reliable, who takes responsibility for their own work and deadlines, can be trusted to work alone and communicate well when reporting back to the team.

The role is starting as soon as possible, and will be part time freelance until mid-late February 2023.
