Steer’s CRM is seeking a talented and experienced Product Designer to join the team. You’ll contribute to our mission, vision, and strategy through a deep understanding of our customer and business needs. You are a strong product thinker— able to devise scalable solutions and develop optimal user journeys that help our customers achieve their growth goals. You will collaborate closely with a talented team of designers, product managers, engineers, and additional key stakeholders to create exceptional user experiences.

 

You Will

• Contribute to a shared strategy, vision, and cohesive roadmap for the future of this product area in partnership with product management and engineering peers
• Understand your customer to build compelling journey scenarios, interaction flows, and visual designs
• Own the end-to-end user journey and all aspects of design execution from ideation, to prototyping, to user testing, to final production.Working autonomously and always with the customer experience in mind.
• Conduct user research and translation insights into design decisions. Iterate and test designs to refine and validate usability.
• Translate your designs into design system components and specifications.
• Support the efficiency and quality of the Product Design team’s output by proactively collaborating with other designers and offering timely and constructive feedback. Ensuring consistency and adherence to design guidelines and design systems.
• Help strike a balance between user goals and business needs to craft win-win experiences for our customers and our business.

 

You Have

Must Have:

• 5+ years of Product / UX/UI design experience on complex product platforms.
• Solid understanding of user-centered design principles, interaction design, and responsive design.
• Demonstrable understanding and application of core design skills including color theory, rules of composition, typography, etc.
• Exemplary product thinking abilities to perform the end-to-end design process from discovery to producing high-fidelity screens, including proficiency in exploring, evaluating, and refining product ideas using a range of design, research, and prototyping techniques.
• Strong collaboration with cross-functional teams to understand user needs, product requirements, and technical limitations.
• Expertise with industry-standard design tools including Figma & Adobe CC apps and design systems.
• Ability to adapt and stay organized in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Ability to shift between tactical and strategic design needs with a thirst for staying updated on industry trends.

 

Nice to Have:

• Experience working with Pendo, analysis of user behavior within the complex platforms.
• Graphic design experience.
• Basic HTML/CSS knowledge.
