Requirements:
- 3+ years of progressive HR experience in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Degree/diploma in Human Resource Management or related field
- Knowledge of Canadian and US employment and labour laws
- Experience working in a highly autonomous role
- Experience developing and implementing HR policies and programs
- Experience coaching and advising leaders and executives
- Outstanding interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively and diplomatically with stakeholders at all levels
Assets:
- Experience working in a technology start-up
- Bilingualism (English and French)
- HR certification
Responsibilities:
- Elevating the employee experience by conducting engagement surveys and analysis to provide visibility to stakeholders on potential issues & solutions
- Advising and supporting managers on all people matters including their team members’ performance, development, retention, engagement, and progression.
- Partnering with leaders to understand business priorities and align the People & Culture strategy with business needs
- Improving and developing our policies, processes and programs
- Participating in full cycle recruitment activities
- Managing the employee experience at all stages including on-boarding and off-boarding
- Hosting virtual and in-person company socials and events
- Managing administration of payroll, benefits, and all other people & culture related activities
