Network Engineer

Are you looking to design the infrastructure used to operate microgrids and join a dynamic team? We are hiring a network engineer to join our team and we are looking for a confirmed professional that combines architecture and engineering skills and is eager to take on leadership responsibilities while, improving his knowledge and collaborate across the organization to implement the changes.

At GreenStruxure we build microgrids to deliver energy as a service to our customers. This role will own the design of the infrastructure that allows us to operate the microgrids.

This position is located in Grenoble, France.

The responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

–      Design of the microgrid operational network based on Azure

–      Act on complex changes and collaborate with the broader team to implement the changes

–      Collaborate with the architecture team to support wider platform evolutions

–      Participate in cyber-security reviews/audits

–      Support operations team for infrastructure troubleshooting

Qualifications

–      Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, or a related field

–      3-5 years of experience in designing and operating networks from Edge to Cloud

–      Experience with Azure cloud platform networking & IaaS (and/or AWS with strong capabilities to switch between environments)

–      Excellent verbal and written communication skills

–      Rigor and sense of detail

–      Ability to work well in a distributed team environment

–      Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

–      Fluent in English
