Description of the offer

We’re looking for an exceptional designer to join our team and provide creative solutions for our tour, activity, & attraction clients. Design plays an important role in everything we do at Blend. As a designer, you will be an integral part of the creative team that ensures quality and integrity of the brands of our clients.

Your talent lies in your skill as a visual storyteller – taking complex ideas and translating them into beautifully articulated visual concepts. You’re a self-starter who’s able to work both autonomously and collaboratively on projects. You have an innate desire to push yourself and the people around you. You love to take the visual expression and identity of brands to a new level of quality.

 

Requirements

• Translate ideas into designs that are clear, compelling, and visually inspiring

• Seamlessly design across multiple channels including digital, print, web, and physical environments
• Help craft distinct brand identities; logo design and comprehensive design systems
• Manage the creative process from concepting and design to production and launch
• Present creative concepts and finished designs to internal teams and clients in a compelling and articulate manner
• Utilize current technologies to find creative solutions
• Provide art direction on photo and video shoots
• Collaborate with the creative director, design team, and account managers to ensure that deliverables, deadlines, quality standards, and brand standards are met
• Assist with project planning, estimating, and project management of the projects you and the team work on
• Inspire and motivate the design team to push creative boundaries and achieve outstanding results

 

Qualifications

• 4-6 years experience in a role similar to the “requirements” above.
• Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, or equivalent education in graphic design principles, tools, and techniques.
• A high-caliber portfolio demonstrating strong brand, print, social advertising and website design experience
• Deep knowledge of branding, design, typography, and UI/UX principles
• Experience developing visual branding, including logos
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite & Figma
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

 

Benefits

Competitive salary ($70-$90k) with 11.5 paid holidays, PTO, health insurance, dental, vision, long-term and short-term disability insurance.
