We’re on a mission to transform dental health experiences and are looking for a Lead Product Designer to be a foundational member of our product design team. This role offers a unique opportunity to shape and direct our user experience, bridging the gap between technology and user-centric design.
Our first location will open in iconic Tribeca, NY, in March 2024. We are still in stealth mode.
1. Lead Product Design: Champion the end-to-end design process across platforms and touchpoints, from initial research and conceptual design to final UI and UX execution. Create a cohesive design between digital and IRL experiences. Design membership experience that connects oral health to whole health, making microbiome and AI insights actionable. Improve the health and longevity of patients of all ages by forming good habits that stick.
2. Innovative Community Building: Help scale our user community into a prime platform for all ages to learn, connect, and optimize their oral health.
3. Collaborate & Communicate: Actively engage with cross-functional teams such as Product Management, Engineering, Marketing, and Science. Be the nexus between design and other departments, ensuring seamless integration of user experiences.
4. User Insights: Regularly interact with users to gather feedback, insights, and suggestions, driving continuous improvement in the product experience.
5. Design System Development: Construct and manage a cohesive design framework to ensure uniformity and efficiency in project deliveries.
6. Mentorship & Team Growth: To start, this is an individual contributor role. Be ready to onboard, mentor, and guide new design talents or contractors as our product design demands evolve.
Experience: 5+ years in product design, preferably with exposure to consumer products and startups
Portfolio: An impressive portfolio showcasing your design prowess, connecting design choices to tangible outcomes.
Technical Proficiency: Expertise in design tools such as Figma, FigJam, Miro, and related platforms.
User-Centric Mindset: Demonstrated experience leading user research and translating feedback into actionable design decisions.
Education: Bachelor’s degree required.
Salary: Between $160,000 and $200,000 annually
