Our client is an Austrian FinTech offering an innovative financial service, primarily for industrial companies. Due to a successful capital raise, the company is hiring to meet the strong demand of international customers and to continue its rapid growth.
As a core member of the development team, you will be responsible for creating, maintaining, and enhancing the main web platform. You should be comfortable working independently within a team and playing a significant role so the dev team delivers business value and a best-in-class software product. Your professional experience, drive, commitment, and personality are decisive, not your educational background.
The position is available to candidates who can work productively from anywhere in the Central European Timezone (+/- 2 hours) and will travel to Vienna, Austria at regular intervals. The minimum presence on-site is one week every six months. Long term contracting is an option.

Your accountabilities:
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code
- Build and maintain features, according to functional and non-functional requirements
- Sensibly apply the testing pyramid to ensure quality, reliability, and maintainability
- Continuously improve skills and stay up to date with new tech, like AI-based tools
What you have:
- Experience working as a full stack developer
- Very good knowledge of PHP and JavaScript (Laravel and Vue.JS),
- Experience writing tests in Selenium or Postman
- SQL and/or Python are a plus, as are Docker and Gitlab
- Excellent communication skills in English – the Tech team’s working language
- Thrive in a small Agile team, working directly with stakeholders

- Own mistakes, work with colleagues to learn from them and improve
