As we build an exceptional team of people, we will apply best-in-class marketing strategies to drive profitable growth for the organization.We are looking for a leader who will drive growth for the company by acquiring new users and monetizing free users. In your role as Head of User Acquisition, you will be pivotal to the success of the platform by leveraging your expertise and leadership to acquire users profitably using long-term and short-term strategies including Paid, Owned and Earned Media, as well as various commerce-based strategies. Your Impact

  • Implement a holistic user acquisition strategy that focuses on creating demand for users and converting them into active, long-term users by facilitating their journey
  • Build annual and quarterly plans for new user volumes for various user types (Teachers, Students, Parents) at a rate which is profitable for the business
  • Build measurement frameworks that are actionable and effective in planning, execution and optimization
  • Build demand plans for Paid Owned and Earned media with an eye on user acquisition
  • Leverage current capabilities or make cases to invest in new capabilities that will help in acquiring users more efficiently
  • Create a team of data-driven strategists and specialists to devise the plan, execute it, and optimize performance
  • Implement continuous performance optimization strategies based on data and analytics
  • Test and learn UX, pricing, packaging, bundling strategies to convert free users into paid members
  • Craft audience-based media plans that perfectly align with our volume and efficiency goals
  • Assemble a top-tier acquisition team, fostering a culture of accountability, ownership, inclusivity, high performance, innovation, and unparalleled collaboration
  • Collaborate with key partners across departments to align user acquisition with broader business goals.

About You

  • 12+ years of experience in marketing, specializing in user acquisition for direct to consumer
  • You have an innate ability to visualize the entire user journey, from their first interaction to their commitment as paid users, resulting in revenue growth
  • Equipped with experience in diverse media strategies, you know how to connect with audiences where they are and guide them to conversion
  • Analytical insights drive your actions; the worlds of SEO and CRO aren’t just areas you’re familiar with, they’re where you thrive
  • Strong ecommerce and web based marketing delivery experience
  • You have a proven track record of building a team, fostering their skills and leading them to consistently produce outstanding results
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, marked by your ability to forge meaningful relationships with internal stakeholders and ensure alignment on shared visions

  • Experience within the EdTech industry
  • You have experience in and/or ability to improve conversion rate in a subscription business
  • Background in scaling organizations or navigating dynamic, fast-paced environments
  • A history of recognizing and leveraging emerging platforms and digital trends proactively
