We are looking for a motivated and experienced Head of Affiliate Sales to take ownership of developing and executing the commercial strategy of the business and management of the sales team. The Head of Affiliate Sales duties will also include hitting monthly, quarterly and annual targets, building outstanding relationships, and understanding industry and market trends. You are able to identify growth opportunities proactively and convert these into actionable strategies.

Location: Employment in Malta or Spain, or remote contract in Europe

Tasks & Responsibilities

  • Take full ownership of driving the company’s commercial strategy;
  • Develop and implement overarching sales and business development strategy, sales processes, structure, and best practices across the company;
  • Evaluate and (delegate to) optimise agreements with new and existing commercial, operational, and strategic partners that have an impact on the revenue and profitability of the business;
  • Identify trends and customer needs, building and managing a short/medium/long-term sales pipeline in according to targets;
  • Maximise sales of our advertising inventory;
  • Manage Tier 1 affiliate accounts, building outstanding relationships with commercial partners and negotiate the best possible commercial terms to improve bottom-line earnings;
  • Take a leading role in the development of proposals and presentations for existing and new business materials to create and nurture business opportunities and partnerships;
  • Optimise conversion rate of our existing traffic via our websites and acquisition channels through marketing activities (e.g. content marketing, social media marketing, newsletter marketing, SEM)  and present new opportunities to increase traffic to our partners;
  • Manage the sales team members by creating quarterly objectives, supporting them to achieve their targets, implementing regular meetings, prioritise weekly and monthly tasks, and providing input on disputes, ultimately improving their output and employee satisfaction;
  • Liaising with the product and content teams to ensure our affiliate websites and channels are up to date with content and offers for the casino/sports events
  • Create and present weekly, monthly and quarterly reporting on progress and performance to management and C-Level;
  • Work closely with the sales managers and the Head of Affiliate Operations and prepare quarterly targets and objectives for the CCO;
  • Representing the company at affiliate conferences and similar events,

Required Skills & Experience

  • At least 3 years experience in a management or senior position within the Igaming affiliation industry;
  • Strong understanding of affiliate marketing, including analytics, partnerships, and strategies;
  • Have sound experience with CPA, Fixed Fee and Revenue Share Deals, as well as media buying and advertising;
  • Proven track record of successfully increasing revenues and/or profits for your portfolio and/or business;
  • Being proficient in MS-Office (especially Excel and Powerpoint and or Google Suite products) and the creation of reports, and pitch decks are necessary for the job;
  • Excellent data analysis skills to be able to determine the most profitable commercial strategy to pursue, including optimisation of earning per click, earning per FTD and evaluating CLTV;
  • Highly skilled and experienced in dealing with various marketing tools such as Google Analytics, Google Adwords, Social Media Marketing, or newsletter marketing;
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills with experience developing and maintaining long-term relationships
  • Experience in developing, leading and motivating teams to drive performance
  • A results-oriented mindset with excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Thrives in a fast-paced environment with a passion for bringing innovative ideas to the table
  • Have a high proficiency in written and spoken English;
