Frontend Developer Remote job in Spain

Gudog is Europe’s largest pet services marketplace for dog owners looking to book local vetted dog sitters, day care and walkers.

We’re looking for a Frontend Developer with previous experience with React (we use NextJS) or React Native. Our stack also includes Ruby on Rails, Postgres and GraphQL.

You’ll be joining a distributed and remote team with members from Ireland, Spain, France, Germany and Brazil, to help build products our users (and their dogs 🐶) love.

The role:
As a Frontend Developer at Gudog you will be responsible for developing new product features and maintaining and improving the ones that we already have, in both our web (NextJS) and mobile app (React Native).

The key responsibilities for this position are:
– Help execute our product roadmap to scale Gudog. You will work with our product team to ship pixel-perfect designs.
– Help the product team to come up with technically feasible new product features.
– Maintain the platform in different countries, languages and currencies.

What we are looking for:
– Experience with Typescript and React. We use Next.js and styled-components.
– Be confortable working in startup environments. That means working independently (not alone), delivering something new to users every week and doing a lot of different things you may not be familiar with.
– Being fluent in English.

It would be amazing, but not required if you also have experience with any of the following:
– React Native
– Native mobile development (Java / Kotlin / Objective C / Swift)
– GraphQL / Apollo
– Ruby on Rails and SQL
– Docker / Kubernetes
