St. Albert cheese co-operative is a 130 year old cheddar cheese producer. We are known for our cheese curds (used on poutine) and aged cheddar cheeses. We are in the process of redesigning our web presence. The present brief is to outline our objectives and wants on the topic of our website.
Objective
Design a modern, visually appealing, easy-to-navigate website.
What we’re looking for
We’re looking for a freelance or contract-based web designer. You will work with a dedicated project manager within our company to design various web pages and page sections.
Notably we are looking for help creating our landing page, nav menu design, product specification pages, contact forms, careers page, and about us page.
We will provide copy, images and assets when available, produce them when not available.
We will be designing the website collaboratively with you in Figma, and the website will eventually be built using Webflow.
We are based in St. Albert, Ontario, Canada. We operate in both French and English, but expect the designer to be able to operate in English.
The project can be managed asynchronously, but we request the designer to respond to written comments within 1 business day.
Project details
The project has 3 phases : Design, Copy, and Development.
Our aim is to have a fully functional prototype in Figma by the end of February 2024. The website needs to be fully responsive. and we expect all page design requests to be designed for Desktop, Tablet, and Mobile.
You will not be required to design every page. We will provide specific requests to design sections of a given web page, and commit ourselves to being available to answer questions you may have.
How we will decide who we will work with
The job will be available for 1 week from the time of posting. At the end of this week, we will evaluate all submissions, choosing based on your portfolio, and your personal interest in the project. If working with an agency, we expect to have a dedicated point of contact.
Compensation
$3 000 USD ($4 000 CAD)
We will require a detailed invoice. Payment through online portals, deposit amount to be determined.
