One of our clients wants to bring a creative/UI copywriter to the team early next year!
Responsibilities:
- Craft compelling, engaging, and clear copy for various digital interfaces, including websites, mobile apps, and other interactive platforms.
- Collaborate with UX designers, product managers, and developers to create intuitive and user-centric copy that enhances the user experience.
- Translate complex technical and product information into easily understandable text that aligns with the brand’s voice and tone.
- Work on a variety of UI elements including buttons, menus, error messages, onboarding flows, and user guides.
- Conduct A/B testing for different copy versions to optimize user engagement and conversion rates.
- Ensure all UI copy is SEO-friendly, aligning with digital marketing strategies.
- Participate in user research to understand customer needs and preferences, using insights to inform copy decisions.
- Keep up to date with the latest trends in UX writing and digital content strategy.
- Review and edit existing content to improve readability and user engagement.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure consistency in messaging across all platforms.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a copywriter, with a strong focus on UI/UX copywriting.
- Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with a keen eye for detail.
- Strong understanding of user experience principles and how copy contributes to the overall user interface.
- Experience with SEO and an understanding of how copy affects search engine rankings.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team and communicate ideas effectively.
- Creative thinker with the ability to produce innovative and original ideas.
- Proficiency in content management systems and familiarity with design software like Adobe Creative Suite.
- Strong research skills and the ability to adapt to different brand voices and styles.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work under tight deadlines.
