Mauler, a Swiss wine producer, is undergoing a rebranding process. The primary challenge is to develop a brand identity that continues to attract supermarket customers with affordable options, while simultaneously elevating the brand in the luxury market to be represented in high-end wine shops.
Design Directions
1. Unified Visual Identity (Un Seul Style pour Toute la Maison)
- Concept: Create a cohesive visual identity that appeals to both supermarket buyers and luxury wine enthusiasts.
- Objective: Establish brand recognition that transcends market segments, embodying both accessibility and luxury.
2. Dual Visual Identity (Deux Styles Distincts)
- Concept: Develop two separate visual identities for the mass-market and luxury wines.
- Objective: Specifically address and engage the distinct audiences of each market segment.
3. Swiss Origin Emphasis (Renforcer le côté “Swiss made”)
- Concept: Incorporate elements reflecting Swiss heritage, blending tradition with modernity.
- Objective: Strengthen the brand’s Swiss identity, appealing to both local authenticity and global luxury perceptions.
