Position Summary

The person who fulfills the Copywriter role will bring a powerful combination of both big-picture, strategic thinking, and tactics-focused abilities. They will write short- and long-form copy for a wide range of deliverables. They will clearly communicate complex healthcare topics in a user-friendly, digestible way.

Key Areas of Responsibility

  • Interpret creative briefs and client needs — and ask helpful questions to fill any gaps necessary to complete assignments.
  • Ideate, execute, a speak convincingly of conceptual ideas.
  • Write clear, compelling, persuasive copy for email campaigns, websites, newsletters, brochures, social ads, video scripts, and other copywriting deliverables.
  • Adapt to different industries and audiences.
  • Adapt to each client’s tone, style, and voice guidelines.
  • The ability to develop persuasive messaging around business and marketing objectives.
  • Revise content based on internal and client feedback.
  • Ensure copywriting deliverables and internal documents are in tip-top shape from a spelling, punctuation, and grammar perspective.
  • Collaborate with our editorial, account management, project management, client engagement, and design teams.


  • 3-5 years of copywriting experience, preferably in a creative setting (agency, in-house creative team, etc.).
  • Bachelor’s degree in journalism, marketing, or related field.
  • A portfolio that demonstrates exciting work that features a range of conceptual and tactical writing.
  • Experience writing for healthcare or other technical/regulated industries is a plus.

    • A strong grasp of A.P. style guidelines and the ability to proofread and edit copy for grammar, accuracy, clarity, flow, voice, and actionability.
    • Impeccable time-management skills and respect for deadlines.
    • The ability to receive and act on constructive criticism.
    • A proven track record of improving copy based on internal and client feedback.
    • The professionalism to present work internally.
  • Adhere with all Brado and client required training and guidelines for market research and healthcare industry regulations and laws. Specifically (but not limited to) Pharmacovigilance (PV) and Healthcare Providers (HCPs) processes and reporting, Ethics, Confidentiality, Data Privacy / Security and Harassment.
