About You

We are in search of a dynamic Account Executive to join our GTM team and contribute to the growth of our innovative skill development and job matching platform. As an Account Executive, you will be closely collaborating with the Founders and the sales team to understand client needs and drive revenue through strategic thinking and a deep understanding of our unique first principles approach to problem-solving and client engagement.

Your Responsibilities

  • Sourcing and qualifying leads: Identify potential clients through diligent research and networking. Evaluate leads to ensure a good fit for our platform, maximizing efficiency and effectiveness in our sales pipeline.
  • Building relationships with prospective customers: Cultivate lasting relationships with potential clients by understanding their unique needs and demonstrating how our platform can add value to their business.
  • Conducting buyer discovery: Delve into the specifics of each potential buyer’s situation to unearth their requirements and constraints. Use this understanding to tailor your approach and solutions offered.
  • Negotiating and closing deals: Utilize your sharp negotiation skills to close deals, ensuring terms that are beneficial for both the client and our company. Your goal is to secure the deal while laying the foundation for a long-term partnership.
  • Turning buyer observations into business insights: Analyze feedback and observations from buyer interactions to generate insights. These will inform business strategies and product development, aligning our offerings more closely with market needs.

  • Proven Startup Sales Expert: You’ve demonstrated success in sourcing and closing deals, thriving in the dynamic environment of an early stage startup. You understand the thrill of building a customer base from the ground up and have the skills to create meaningful, profitable relationships with clients.
  • Relationship Builder: You have a track record of building and maintaining strong customer relationships, and your approach to sales is both thoughtful and strategic. You’re known for your ability to listen to and learn from those around you, which in turn informs your sales strategies.
  • Insight-Driven Negotiator: You’re at the forefront when complex sales challenges arise. Your colleagues rely on you to interpret buyer behavior and turn it into actionable business insights. You’re not just technically adept; you have a flair for understanding buyer psychology and leveraging it to the company’s advantage.

Our Sales Stack

We use Hubspot, Sales Navigator, PandaDoc, Lavender and a few other tools. We’re building the playbook as we speak, so expect to have a lot of uncertainty as we figure out the sales motion. In this role, you will need to roll up your sleeves and help us go to market.


Compensation: $75,000 USD (base) + Commission + Equity
