About the role: 

Okay, we’ve waffled long enough. So let’s get to the good bit: You.

As the US Marketing Lead, you will be responsible for leading the delivery of integrated marketing plans to drive awareness and engagement with the Elvie brand, whilst supporting our commercial strategies and targets for our biggest revenue market.

 

Reporting to and working closely with the US General Manager, you will be the lead market advocate for the US, developing and driving go-to-market strategies and full mix campaigns from briefing through to execution and evaluation. Using your experience of both disruptive brand building and product focused comms, you will deliver campaigns that drive incremental sales growth, share gains and positive brand attributes.

 

Location: Remote but candidates will ideally be based in Northeast as the team regularly get together. Due to working hours with a UK team, we are unable to consider West Coast candidates.

Requirements

What you’ll be doing at Elvie:

Lead and execute clear and compelling marketing plans for Elvie US, which will drive incremental sales growth, share gains and positive brand attributes:

  • Own the US marketing strategy for Elvie, iterating as needed to maintain market share, relevance, and achieve growth.
  • Be accountable for the overall US marketing budget
  • Develop innovative and non-traditional ways to go to market to support brand objectives, including campaigns, experiential, and partnership activations.
  • Work with Global Brand team to develop long-term vision and growth for categories
  • Collaborate with internal and external partners to execute go-to-market plans including new product launches, advertising creative, media planning, public relations, in-store execution, point of sale, promotions etc.
  • Collaborate regularly with the Global Brand team to ensure alignment
  • Deliver against P&L goals and objectives, owning full scope of US marketing budget
  • Conduct routine business analysis including monthly business reviews and recommendations, as well as ad-hoc analysis of opportunities, best practices, customers and strategy.
  • Own KPI measurement, tracking and timely reporting of marketing activity on weekly/monthly or quarterly basis with post-mortem reporting
  • Directly partner with the Category & Sales team to maximize and support retailer and healthcare opportunities and activations.
  • Lead holistic planning across paid owned and earned channels with a focus on audience and cultural lead approach

 

Lead strategic marketing initiatives aligned to the objectives of Elvie and its categories by elevating compelling insights about culture, trends, innovation and our consumers from across the company:

  • Develop a deep understanding of all our current and potential customers
  • Conduct strategic analysis for the US market landscape, competitive intelligence of target markets and have finger on the pulse of industry topics
  • Provide feedback in terms of platform trends, positioning, competitive activities, price tiers and consumer trends to better assess the impact this will have on our business
  • Identify strategic opportunities and customer demands to maximize returns on marketing investment in pursuit of Elvie financial and brand goals

 

Manage the US marketing team:

  • Line manage, coach and develop the US marketing team, which includes 3 Marketing Managers who oversee Trade, PR, and Integrated Marketing.

 

What we are looking for:

  • An experienced, analytical commercially savvy marketer,  ideally a minimum of 6-8 years of experience in marketing
  • Extensive, demonstrable campaign management experience
  • Strong cross-functional project management skills
  • Commercially driven, with an understanding of the P&L and budget management experience
  • Confidence in managing a complex stakeholder networks and experience working in a global/local market structure
  • Experience working with internal creative teams as well as managing agency relationships
  • Willing to jump in and get things done, problem solving as you go
  • Line management experience, with proven interest in mentoring and leading teams
