In the realm of EWA, the transfer process is crucial. It involves the timely and secure movement of funds from employer accounts to employee accounts upon request. Our aim is to refine this transfer process, ensuring it is swift, efficient, and error-free. By doing so, we aim to not only elevate transaction volumes but also significantly reduce occurrences of errors and fraud. This commitment is pivotal to increasing our revenue per registered member and establishing a stronger trust in our platform.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:  

1. Understanding Customer Needs (Discovery Phase)

  • Market and User Behavior Analysis: Conduct comprehensive research to understand market trends and user behavior. This aligns with the initial phase of the product development framework where understanding customer needs is crucial.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Utilize data analysis to align product development with user needs and market demands, a key component in the discovery phase.

2. Defining Product Strategy (Strategy Phase)

  • Strategic Growth Initiatives: Develop a clear strategy for increasing transaction volume, particularly focusing on the EWA service. This involves setting long-term goals and vision in the strategy phase of product development.
  • Fraud Reduction Strategies: Formulate strategies using analytics and fraud prevention tools to reduce fraud cases, fitting into the strategic planning of product development.

3. Designing Solutions (Design Phase)

  • Error and Fraud Mitigation: Design robust systems to reduce errors and fraud, which is a crucial part of the design phase in product development.
  • Feature Development and Enhancement: Identify and design features or enhancements that increase revenue per registered member, directly contributing to the solution design.

4. Implementing and Executing (Execution Phase)

  • Optimize the Transfer Process: Implement initiatives to refine the EWA transfer process, ensuring efficiency and seamlessness. This falls under the execution phase where plans are put into action.
  • Customer Contact Rate Reduction: Implement strategies to lower contact rates through improved self-service options and process streamlining, a key part of the execution phase.

5. Evaluating and Iterating (Evaluation Phase)

  • User Experience Focus: Continuously evaluate and iterate the user journey for EWA to ensure an efficient process, aligning with the evaluation phase where products are refined based on feedback and performance.

6. Leadership and Cross-functional Collaboration (Team Leadership)

  • Lead the Transfers Mission Team: As a key leader of the Transfers Mission Team, ensure cross-functional collaboration and alignment with the product development framework. This involves guiding the team through each phase of product development, from discovery to evaluation.
  • Collaboration with Customer Support: Engage with customer support teams in a cross-functional manner to address and solve user issues, ensuring that the product meets the highest standards of customer satisfaction.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING:

  • 8+ years of Product Manager experience with a focus on growth and user acquisition.
  • Physically situated in California or Texas.
  • Exceptional analytical skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Proven track record managing products in fast-paced, highly cross-functional, agile environments
  • Experience in optimizing user journeys and registration processes.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and leadership skills to effectively work with cross-functional teams and stakeholders

Compensation: $160,000-175,000 + bonus + equity. The actual base salary will depend on numerous factors such as: location, experience, training, knowledge. and skills. Tapcheck reserves the right to amend, change, alter, and revise pay ranges and benefits offerings at any time. All applicants acknowledge that by applying to this position you understand that this specific pay range is contingent upon meeting the qualifications and requirements of the role, and for the successful completion of the interview selection and process. It is at the Company’s discretion to determine what pay is provided to a candidate within the range associated with the role.
