What We’re Looking For
We are in search of a Social Media Specialist with creativity, passion, and energy to engage with virtual communities and find our desired audience on social media platform users.
What You’ll Do
- Create and execute social media strategies through research, platform determination, benchmarking, messaging, and audience selection.
- Generate, edit, publish, and share daily content (original text, images, video, or HTML) that fosters productive connections and encourages engagement within the community.
- Configure and optimize company pages across each platform to enhance the company’s social content visibility.
- Automation and AI Integration: Use the power of automation and artificial intelligence to streamline social media processes. Develop workflows and automation-based solutions to enhance efficiency without sacrificing the human touch in our interactions.
- SEO-Infused Content Strategy: Combine your social media expertise with SEO knowledge to collaborate closely with our SEO department, creating content that resonates with our audience and ranks well in search engines, driving organic traffic to our platforms.
- Conduct A/B tests to optimize our content, ad formats, and audience segmentation.
- Moderate all user-generated content in line with each community’s moderation policy.
- Create editorial and reposting calendars.
- Continuously improve by capturing and analyzing data/metrics, insights, and best practices in the social media field, then acting on the information.
- Collaborate with other departments (customer relations, sales, etc.) to manage reputation, identify key factors, and coordinate actions.
- Develop promotional campaigns for key dates, focusing on both branding and conversions, to showcase our products and brands.
- Foster UGC (User-Generated Content), create a strategy to obtain high-quality user-generated content to be used on our websites and social media.
- Prospecting for Potential Leads: Identify potential leads both on-page and off-page, using specialized landing pages and strategic emails, targeting interest groups that may want to travel to our destinations with our vehicles (e.g., annual company trips, etc).
- Identify beneficial B2C and B2B collaborations for our brands and execute them from start to finish.
Requirements for This Position
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Social Media, or Public Relations.
- Demonstrable work experience (+5 years) as a social media/marketing specialist and/or digital media specialist.
- Proficiency in English: Native level.
- Excellent content generation and editing skills in photo, video and text.
- Proven experience in social media and familiarity with social media tools (HootSuite, Buffer, Canva, GA, Zapier, ChatGPT, Bard, CapCut, Premiere, among others).
- Demonstrable experience in generating and executing marketing campaigns.
- Agility and adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, adjusting to rapid changes in both company dynamics and platform algorithms and industry trends on the fly.
- Positive attitude, attention to detail, customer orientation, strong organizational skills, and the ability to handle multiple tasks.
- A candidate who is comfortable in front of the camera to generate unique content for producing detailed travel guides, tutorials, and educational content showcasing our industry knowledge and expertise will be a plus.
- Creative and out-of-the-box thinking to achieve set objectives.
- Passion, energy, and motivation for the job, with a constant desire to improve and keep learning.
