The role:

We’re looking for a Senior Social Strategist to join the StudioX team.

You’ll be supporting the wider Strategy team who are instinctively supportive and collaborative whilst developing your creative and integrated strategy skills. You will be working alongside an integrated team, working with individuals from numerous divisions including Creative, Design and Project Management to name a few.


Key Responsabilites:

  • Lead the Social Media strategic thinking and expertise for key TCCC projects, brands and charters; working in full integration with the broader team and other experts; with the great ambition of driving TCCC brands in the excellence space of Social Media platforms.
  • Quickly getting up to speed on the clients’ business – you would want to help us understand the ins and outs of what they offer customers, how they do it and how our work on Social platforms contributes to their success.
  • Learning about the clients’ competitors – you will love the chance to get our whole team together regularly and report on what other brands are doing on Social Media or digital and how you think we should outsmart them.
  • Kickstarting great ideas – you would be up for partnering with the account managers and Strategy Director to brief creatives and get to brilliant work. You would jump at the opportunity to help run monthly brainstorming sessions to develop ideas and brilliant proactive thinking we can take to our clients and own the social space.
  • Ownership of projects and briefs – you will not be one to sit at the sidelines. From day one you will want to jump right in, put your hand up to own things, write briefs and find out which part of the account you will get to own and who you will get to own them with.
  • Deep understanding of new media channels, formats and features – you will become a font of knowledge for best practice use of all the channels/formats we currently use, as well as learn about and helping us experiment with new ones.
  • Supporting your team – making sure everyone has the latest info they need, the best research at hand, the latest version of the brief, that creative feedback is properly prepared etc.




Key Skills:

  • You are ambitious, organised and raring to go. You know enough about strategy and have a senior experience of strategy for Social Media channels, in their new forms, and how an agency works, and you are ready to take on more.
  • You have senior experience in modern strategy tasks and have delivered great work on key brands.
  • You’re creative and curious about people. You’re interested in what people want from brands, you’re interested in behavior, social trends and how great ideas can entertain, engage, and influence people.
  • You’re a good writer and confident speaker. Noodling over the words to build a brilliant creative brief, inspiring proposition or slick presentation that sells ideas should be something you love doing (and you’ll be badgering your senior planner for the chance to present it).
  • You’re able to distil information simply. You’re happy to go off and learn as much as you can about a subject/business/brand/category and share back what’s genuinely useful and insightful for the team.
  • You’re eager to get stuck into research tools. We’ve got a whole load of toys to play with. Sources of data, statistics, learning and reporting that you’d be totally up for cracking open and learning how to use.
  • You’re a problem solver and team player. You love solving problems (logically, creatively, analytically, and practically). You believe great ideas and strategies don’t come from sitting with your headphones on in a corner, they come from sharing your thinking and bringing others along.
  • You know what an idea is – when you look at work, you can separate the idea from the execution.
