Senior Manager, Brand Marketing

The Senior Brand Marketing Manager helps build, preserve, and grow the Alma brand. This person is responsible for driving awareness and brand perception through leading and developing engaging, culture-shifting brand campaigns, partnerships and experiences across both our provider and consumer audiences. Overall, they will act as a steward of the Alma brand, partnering closely with other teams like creative, content, social, PR, growth, and product to ensure overall brand cohesion. This person is excited to help push us to the next level and differentiate us in our competitive marketplace.

 

The ideal candidate is a compelling storyteller and process management pro, able to flex from leveraging data and building processes to delivering creative feedback. This person will report to and partner closely with the Director of Brand Marketing, to aid in the refinement of the overall brand and integrated strategy.

 

What you’ll do:

  • Quarterback integrated campaigns and work cross-functionally from kick off to launch
  • Work across both sides of our dual business: providers and consumers
  • Identify and evaluate upper funnel brand opportunities, partnerships, and sponsorships based on their relevance to overall business goals and brand strategy
  • Assist the Director of Brand Marketing in the development messaging strategy, architecture, and other cross-functional tools to ensure brand narrative cohesion
  • Lead briefings and deliver feedback to internal and external creative teams for campaign work
  • Partner closely across the Brand Team (PR, Social, Content, Creative) to ensure cohesion and pull through of brand ideas, platforms, and initiatives through all channels
  • Stay on top of the competitive and media landscape changes by owning Brand audit processes
  • Manage external stakeholders such as agencies and vendors
  • Resolve issues and bumps along the road, taking brand concepts and strategy to market while problem-solving creatively and effectively

 

Who you are:

  • 5-7 years of experience in brand and/or integrated marketing
  • Strong experience project managing campaigns implicating multiple cross functional stakeholders
  • Have a proven track record of delivering against, and at times, defining, KPIs
  • Naturally curious about relevant and emerging cultural conversations
  • Effective relationship builder and negotiator with shown strong examples of collaboration and followership with a diverse group of team members and partners
  • Future thinking – someone with a knack for understanding cultural trends and spotting future opportunities
  • Passionate about creativity and making breakthrough work
  • With the know how to apply both creative and data to drive the right initiatives and make the appropriate decisions for the brand
  • Passionate about Alma’s mission and the future of mental health

Salary Band: $142,000 – $163,000
