My client are currently looking for a talented and experienced Scala Developer to join our growing team.

Job Description:

As a Scala Developer within the team, you will be a key member of their engineering team, working on the development of high-performance and scalable backend systems for their iGaming platform. You will have the opportunity to work with the latest technologies and contribute to the success of my clients exciting and rapidly expanding business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs using Typelevel Scala.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and QA engineers, to deliver high-quality software solutions.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code, adhering to best practices and coding standards.
• Work on performance optimization and scalability of our systems to ensure a seamless gaming experience for our users.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in the Scala and iGaming industries and contribute to technical discussions.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Strong experience in Scala development, with a focus on Typelevel Scala.
• Proficiency in functional programming concepts and libraries (e.g., Cats, Cats-effect, FS2).
• Experience with distributed systems and microservices architecture.
• Knowledge of Akka or Akka HTTP is a plus.
• Familiarity with databases (SQL and NoSQL).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Passion for gaming and a desire to work in the iGaming industry.
