About the Role

We are looking for a PR and Digital Communications Manager to develop and roll out an integrated communications plan aligned with our wider company business objectives and priorities.

Reporting line: Chief Marketing Officer

Location: UK

Worksite: hybrid/remote

 

Responsibilities

  • Launch and oversee PR/comms initiatives contributing to brand awareness and company image including industry relevant research, new product launches, events and promotions; charity initiatives, collaborations with other brands, etc.
  • Manage PR agencies and regional speaking heads across our local markets.
  • Maintain relationships with industry titles (Bloomberg, CNBC…etc) , influencers, analysts and other contributors as well as with more mainstream media (BBC, Telegraph..).
  • Manage the design, content, and production of all publicity materials creating informative and interesting press releases, press kits, newsletters, and other related publicity materials.
  • Own our corporate social media channels. Plan, edit and write content for these channels as well as for both digital and traditional media (print, TV, radio..).
  • Manage our content calendar to ensure timely and effective messages reach audiences at the right time across the right channels.
  • Experience using financial market analysis (from our research team) and proprietary trading data to creatively increased engagement across all media and channels.
  • Work with different departments to generate new ideas and strategies for brand developments.
  •  Respond to communication-related issues and adverse sentiment in a timely manner.
  •  Prepare detailed media coverage reports.

Requirements

Qualifications and Experience 

  • Degree or higher educational background and evidence of excellent written skills.
  • Excellent communication skills with a track record of creating PR, securing interviews and promoting thought pieces across industry specific and mainstream media.
  • Experience of working in a digital communications setting with competency across a range of digital channels (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram).
  • Experience of developing strategies and supporting the wider business plan including conceptualisation and delivery of 3rd part and in-house reports, surveys and other PR’able content.
  • Experience in Financial services and/or Fintech communications roles.

  • Excellent organisational skills and ability to plan and prioritise workloads to meet deadlines.

  • Professional and accountable approach to work, with an ability to manage multiple demands and ‘customer’ needs.
