Job Description:

As a Power BI Consultant, you have an in-depth knowledge of the importance of data for business. You will help customers gain a competitive advantage by transforming information into accessible and accurate analysis, to effectively support the decision-making process.

This role will involve model formulation, programing required for analysis, model building and interpretation of how to use the data and models created to create reports and dashboards that will guide impactful and actionable business decisions.

Responsibilities:

• Work with customers to develop and deploy BI solutions in Power BI and other Microsoft technologies
• Willingness to learn and a passion for learning Business Intelligence and related technologies is a must have for this position.
• Be proactive and taking responsibility for project work is a key characteristic.
• Strong communication and consulting skills are required to assist customers in developing BI reports and their BI solution.
• Work closely with our implementation teams and customers.
• Work collaboratively with a broad range of internal team members (BI analysts, functional consultants, other technical staff, project managers, and our executive team).

Requirements & Desired Experience:

• A Bachelor’s degree, preferably in engineering or business with 5-7 years of work experience in data analytics
• Consulting experience (desired)
• Power BI report development experience (3-4 years minimum).
• Experience with building DAX measures.
• Understanding of Azure SQL database and tabular model deployment.
• T-SQL experience.
• Experience working with different data sources: SaaS models, Salesforce models, etc
• Building views with complex joins.
• Understanding of Data Modeling.
• Understanding of FACT and dimension table functionality and relationships.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Work experience with Synapse, Azure SQL (preferred)
• Understanding of APIs (preferred)
