Are you a storyteller? Can you pull out a captivating story from hours of content? We have a new opening for an experienced Media Editor.

As a Media Editor, you will be responsible for shaping and enhancing multimedia content across various platforms. Your role will involve editing and post-production work to ensure the highest quality visual and audio elements are integrated seamlessly to deliver compelling and engaging media experiences.

  • Edit and enhance multimedia content, including long-form and short-form videos for social media platforms, audio recordings, podcasts, animations, and other digital media assets.
  • Collaborate closely with content creators to ensure consistency and alignment with project objectives.
  • Trim, crop, and arrange video footage to create compelling storytelling that captures the emotional feel and arc of the video.
  • Ensure content tells a story and deeply engages the audience.
  • Utilize software tools to perform video editing, color correction, audio mixing, and other post-production tasks.
  • Ensure proper pacing, timing, and seamless transitions between scenes or audio segments.
  • Collaborate with the creative team to develop and maintain a consistent visual style and brand identity across all media assets.
  • Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and new editing techniques to continuously improve the quality of media productions.
  • Manage and organize media assets, ensuring efficient storage, retrieval, and version control.


  • 3+ years of experience as a Media Editor or similar role, with a strong portfolio demonstrating mastery of high-quality video editing and post-production techniques.
  • Experience editing both long-form and short-form videos.
  • Demonstrated ability to tell stories visually and create engaging narratives through editing.
  • Excellent attention to detail, color perception, and visual aesthetics.
  • Advanced skill utilizing editing software.
  • Knowledge of audio editing software.
  • Strong understanding of video codecs, file formats, resolution, and aspect ratios.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Collaborative mindset, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively work within a creative team.

Preferred Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in film production, media studies, visual arts, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Experience with YouTube’s audience retention graph and how to maintain a high audience retention over the watch time is super valuable.
  • Experience in script writing would be a plus.
