What does the Marketing Manager do?
In this role, you will be responsible for executing strategies that promote Leaf and its products to our shipper, carrier, and broker audiences. This marketer has experience in implementing and running a range of marketing tactics to reach a B2B enterprise audience. You will work closely with the marketing team to build brand awareness and you will implement and measure the effectiveness of our marketing campaigns. The ideal candidate is looking to accelerate their career with this high-visibility role within a rapidly growing startup.
A successful individual in this role will be curious and ask questions, challenge us to be better, and have a test and learn mindset. Leaf has seen incredible growth over the last few years and we’re on track for another record year with the right marketing team in place. Responsibilities:
  • Develop a deep understanding of our shipper, carrier, and broker audiences and develop content and messaging for each segment.
  • Support the marketing team by managing the content calendar and implementing various marketing tactics to reach our target audiences.
  • Own and run Leaf’s events and conferences planning and execution, both digital and in-person.
  • Create and manage email marketing campaigns using HubSpot Marketing to reach our target audiences.
  • Create, measure, and iterate our marketing campaigns across social media and advertising channels.
  • Support our demand gen, sales, and customer success teams with various marketing deliverables as necessary.

 

Requirements:
  • 4+ years of digital marketing experience with a focus on a B2B enterprise audience.
  • Exceptional communication, writing, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to be flexible and easily shift between analytical data-driven measurement and decision-making, and creativity in content creation and program execution.
  • Experience working in a startup or similar environment.
  • Logistics experience is desired but not required.
  • HubSpot Marketing, Outreach, or similar software experience.
Compensation
Cash compensation range: $110,000-$140,000 USD annually.
The cash compensation above reflects the annual base salary. In addition to base salary, our total cash compensation may include additional compensation for employees in eligible roles. All Leaf employees are also eligible to participate in Leaf’s equity plan to receive Incentive Stock Options (ISOs). Individual compensation packages are based on a few different factors unique to each candidate, including their skills, experience, qualifications, and other job-related reasons.
