A leading global children’s book publisher has an opportunity for a Brand Marketing Executive to join their London team on a short 1-2 month fixed-term contract (with the possibility of extension/becoming permanent); the role offers an excellent salary and benefits, along side the chance to gain some first-hand knowledge and experience working with a world class publisher of children’s books! This role will follow a hybrid office/home working pattern, require X number of days in the company’s central London office.
Alongside the Brand Marketing Manager and Head of Marketing, your main remit as Brand Marketing Executive will be to implement effective, audience-appropriate brand marketing campaigns to drive sales of media, classic and publishing brands. Your responsibilities will be varied: you will look to ensure brand campaigns and marketing activations hit deadlines and meet budgets; and you will have a commitment to high quality design and messaging across all communications. As part of the communications team you will be an advocate for consumer insight and reader awareness around the business; you will analyse the effectiveness of your marketing; assist in the compilation of author and illustrator presentations in power point and word; you will also plan, create and schedule social media content across a range of platforms; and carry out admin tasks as directed by the Brand Marketing Manager, Head of Marketing and Communications Director.
The ideal Brand Marketing Executive will be a highly effective communicator with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to write and brief effective creative copy. Alongside an excellent eye for detail, you will be highly organised with the ability to juggle multiple tasks and meet deadlines. as well as a proven track record of executing marketing campaigns (including social media marketing), a passion for children’s books and experience in publishing and/or marketing products or content to a family audience will be important.
