Job Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Marketing Data Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will play a critical role in driving data-informed decision making and optimizing our marketing strategies. As a Marketing Data Analyst, you will work closely with the marketing team to gather, analyze, and interpret data from various sources to identify trends, measure campaign performance, and provide actionable insights. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the growth of our dynamic Ed-Tech start-up and make a meaningful impact on our marketing efforts.

Responsibilities:

  • Collect, analyze, and interpret marketing data from various sources, including website analytics, social media metrics, advertising platforms, and customer relationship management (CRM) systems.
  • Perform in-depth analysis to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for optimization.
  • Create reports and dashboards to visualize key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide insights to the marketing team.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop data-driven marketing strategies and campaigns.
  • Conduct A/B testing and provide recommendations for optimizing marketing channels and campaigns.
  • Assist in tracking and measuring the effectiveness of marketing initiatives and campaigns, providing actionable insights and recommendations for improvement.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure data integrity and accuracy.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in marketing analytics.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Analytics, Statistics, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Marketing Data Analyst or similar role, preferably in the technology or education industry.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques, such as SQL, Excel, and statistical analysis software (e.g., R or Python).
  • Experience with data visualization tools, such as Tableau or Power BI, to create reports and dashboards.
  • Familiarity with web analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics) and marketing automation tools.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex data findings in a clear and concise manner.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to data accuracy and integrity.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects with competing deadlines.
  • Passion for education and a genuine interest in transforming the early learning education industry.
