Description of the offer

A central member of the team and reporting to the Client Services Director, you’ll be responsible for the day-to-day management of retained marketing clients working with a wide variety of ecommerce and B2B clients across multiple business sectors.

You’ll be wholly responsible for providing an end-to-end service, managing the Client and also working with an internal team of channel and strategic specialists, to deliver multi-channel marketing campaigns aligned with our clients commercial objectives. Ideally, you’ll have experience of working with website developers to deliver enhancements to existing campaign landing pages too.

You’ll be responsible for coordinating client communication from annual strategic reviews and Quarterly Business Reviews, through to weekly and monthly reporting, as well as internal performance reviews of client progress and performance.

You’ll identify areas of opportunity with Clients, collaborating with strategy and channel specialists to build quarterly plans and targets, ensuring the work Velstar delivers aligns with the Client’s wider business objectives and goals.

You’ll be able to deliver an exceptional client experience, and this will be at the forefront of everything you do. You’ll follow processes (both internal and Client facing) to ensure delivery standards, and client expectations are aligned. You’ll be an excellent communicator and listener, and be able to manage tricky situations and context switch when required.

 

  • An exceptional and adaptable communicator, with a track record of engaging confidently with a wide range of people at all levels.
  • Be the main point of contact for your clients across all work streams, delivering an excellent client experience each time
  • Work with heads of departments to ensure tasks and actions are allocated and delivered for clients on time and to budget
  • Maintain clear records of each client’s status and flag issues that could impact client success or relationships
  • Identify and understand client needs and communicate/brief the team internally accordingly – keep the clients perspective at the centre of the conversation internally
  • Identify opportunities to grow our relationship with clients and work with specialists to set out and pitch upsells and cross sells
  • Able to review, interpret and communicate digital marketing analytics data as well as ensuring information is appropriately and accurately presented for the client
  • Able to travel within the UK from time to time to meet with clients face to face.

Requirements

  • You’ll have proven experience in client-facing account management roles, within ecommerce and B2B environments
  • You’ll have at least 2 years experience of digital marketing and advertising
  • Be able to manage multiple clients, always delivering an excellent client experience
  • Be able to demonstrate a history of building relationships – client experience is very important to us
  • Finger on the pulse of digital marketing and ecommerce to ensure you offer our clients the most innovative solutions
  • Experience using planning and communication tools such as Basecamp and strong presentation skills using slides and spreadsheet data
  • Ideally knowledge of the Shopify Platform
