Description:

The client is currently having a vacancy for an Application Architect (SharePoint, .NET) fluent in English, to offer his/her services as an expert, who will be based in Valletta, Malta. The work will be carried out in the company’s premises and on site at customer premises. In the context of the first assignment, the successful candidate will be integrated in the Development team of the company that will closely cooperate with a major client’s IT team onsite.

Your tasks:

• Lead and contribute to the solution architecture, design, development, implementation, testing, and maintenance of information systems;
• Assess, propose, design, prototype, develop, test, configure, and maintain technical solutions related to key business requirements for improvements of information systems, according to the prioritized backlog agreed between ICT and business;
• Create and maintain SharePoint site collections with multiple sites, unique navigational elements, custom content types and site columns, site pages, web part pages, workflows, retention policies, and governance policies;
• Provide technical support in the applications’ and roadmap, including Azure environment and SharePoint Online and Microsoft 365 presence;
• Integrate the applications with other systems or third-party platforms and tools, as required;
• Implement task automation and continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) for ICT projects.

Requirements:

• University degree in IT, combined with professional experience of more than 10 years’ experience;
• Experience with SharePoint on-prem (2013/2016/2019/Hybrid) and SharePoint Online, SharePoint Framework (SPFx), SharePoint PnP Framework (deployment templates), SharePoint site and list templates, SharePoint REST APIs, client-side web parts, custom actions and PowerShell;
• Experience in designing and proposing solution architecture;
• Experience in .NET (framework 4.x and 6+), C#, ASP.NET, ASP.NET MVC, and ASP.NET Web API;
• Experience with Azure Active Directory, Microsoft 365 and Azure DevOps;
• Experience in Web APIs and perform system integrations;
• Experience with DevOps best practices, including continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD);
• Good knowledge of one or more front-end JavaScript frameworks, such as Vue JS, Angular or React;
• Good knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server and Microsoft Power Platform;
• Excellent command of the English language.
