We are looking for a Resource Manager to play a crucial role in overseeing the efficient flow of work across the US and APAC, ensuring that projects move seamlessly from initiation to completion. This position involves managing the allocation of resources, coordinating timelines, and facilitating communication among different teams to optimize workflow.

 

What you will do:

  • Project Coordination: Collaborate with various teams, including creative, account management, and production, to understand project requirements, deadlines, and dependencies.
  • Resource Allocation: Effectively assign tasks and allocate resources based on project priorities, team members’ skills, and workload capacities.
  • Communication Facilitation: Act as a central point of contact for project-related information, facilitating communication between different teams and ensuring clarity on project goals and requirements.
  • Problem Resolution: Address and resolve any bottlenecks, conflicts, or challenges that may arise during project execution, keeping projects on track and within scope.
  • Contractor/Freelancer Management: identifying needs, onboarding, and management of contractors across the US and APAC region.
  • New Business: Building teams to support with any new business requirements.
  • Workflow Optimization: Continuously evaluate and refine internal processes to enhance efficiency, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions.
  • Software Utilization: Proficiently use project management and traffic management tools to track project status, resource utilization, and overall workflow.

Requirements

Who you are:

  • Someone who is calm and decisive under pressure
  • A pro in multitasking
  • Use of one or more scheduling programmes/or techniques
  • Approachable and authoritative
  • Methodical and have excellent attention to detail
  • Through understanding of the creative process

 

What you will need:

  • Experience working in an agency, with an understanding of the typical work flow for delivering a project, and the skills of the teams that work on projects. Resources Manger, Studio Manager or Operations Manager are all desired previous roles.
  • Have a high-level commercial understanding of a marketing agency, and how this role can influence and support financial goals.
  • Evidence of working with cross-discipline teams (strategy, creative, technology, media, and project management)
  • Take ownership of problems and see them through to completion
  • Able to keep several plates spinning at once, managing different requests and priorities
  • Be curious and take initiative to improve our ways of working
  • Values and respects the different perspectives that make working in teams great
  • Can bounce back from setbacks and finds solutions to problems
  • Comfortable working a remote setting with colleagues in the US, UK & APAC
