About The Role

Leigh & Co. Events is seeking a creative and analytical Website & SEO Specialist to join their dynamic team. This role is pivotal in enhancing the company’s digital footprint by optimizing the website for search engines and improving user experience. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing SEO strategies, conducting keyword research, and analyzing website performance to boost organic traffic and lead generation. The ideal candidate should possess a strong understanding of website management, SEO tools, and digital marketing best practices. This position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to the company’s growth and visibility while working in a collaborative and innovative environment.

Qualifications

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field
  • 2+ years of experience in website management and SEO
  • Proficiency in SEO tools such as Google Analytics, SEMrush, Moz
  • Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, and content management systems (preferably WordPress)
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects effectively
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • A portfolio showcasing past SEO successes is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive keyword research to identify opportunities for organic growth
  • Optimize website content for SEO, including on-page and off-page elements
  • Implement website best practices for speed, usability, and accessibility
  • Monitor and analyze website performance using tools like Google Analytics and Search Console
  • Develop and execute effective SEO strategies to improve search engine rankings
  • Collaborate with the content team to create SEO-friendly blog posts and website copy
  • Stay updated on industry trends, algorithm updates, and emerging SEO techniques
  • Generate regular performance reports with insights and actionable recommendations
