Web Designer

STAND 8 provides end to end IT solutions to enterprise partners across the United States and with offices in Los Angeles, New York, New Jersey, Atlanta, and more including internationally in Mexico and India.

STAND 8 is seeking two highly skilled Web Designers to support a fast-moving digital design workstream within a large, regulated corporate environment. This role requires experienced designers who can contribute immediately, balancing creativity with structured brand governance and established design systems. The Web Designer will deliver high-quality digital and visual assets while adhering to strict corporate standards and timelines. This is a contract role with a strong possibility of conversion.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and update web experiences using Figma, leveraging existing design systems, templates, and component libraries.
• Apply and maintain strict adherence to corporate brand standards, including typography, color systems, layout rules, and accessibility requirements.
• Collaborate with content and delivery teams to ensure designs are optimized for platform implementation.
• Create, edit, and optimize visual assets, including image cropping and color correction, using Adobe Photoshop.
• Develop supporting graphics and materials using Illustrator, InDesign, and PowerPoint.
• Execute assigned tasks independently while managing priorities in a structured, delivery-focused environment.
• Incorporate feedback efficiently from creative leadership and stakeholders.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with cross-functional partners across multiple time zones.

Qualifications

Required:

• Proven experience as a Web Designer within enterprise or corporate environments.
• Advanced proficiency in Figma with the ability to contribute immediately.
• Extensive experience with Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
• Strong graphic design fundamentals, including layout, typography, and color theory.
• Experience producing professional presentation materials using PowerPoint.
• Demonstrated ability to work within strict brand guidelines and structured design systems.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent visual judgment.
• Ability to work remotely while aligning with UK or EST business hours, including an 8:00 AM EST start time if applicable.

Preferred (Optional):

• Familiarity with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) and designing for AEM-based websites.
• Experience working in regulated or highly structured corporate environments.
• Experience using project and task management tools such as Jira or Monday.com.
• Background supporting financial or enterprise-level brands.

Additional Details

The base range for this contract position is $35.83 – $45.83 / per hour, depending on experience. Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hires of this position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
