We’re looking for a VP, Product Management to be a strategic architect of our product’s future. You will champion the “why” behind what we build, and drive a cross-functional team to deliver on the Antenna mission. You will translate our company product strategy into an actionable roadmap that will define the future of data in the subscription economy.
In this role, you will own the day-to-day operations of and development of Antenna’s product roadmap. You will partner with Antenna’s co-founders and commercial leaders to ensure we are aligned in meeting our business goals. Also, you’ll be responsible to lead cross-functional leaders across all of Antenna’s product initiatives. You will lead key strategic initiatives such as building a next-generation interface, improving data quality, expanding coverage area into new industries and geographies, etc. If you are a data-driven leader who thrives on building innovative data products, fostering a collaborative culture, and solving complex challenges, we want to hear from you.
Antenna is a remote-first company, and we are looking for candidates who can work during US business hours. Preferably, you should be based in a US time zone (Eastern, Central, Mountain, or Pacific). You will report to our President.
What You’ll Do
- Product Strategy & Vision
- Partner with the founding team to define and evangelize an ambitious product strategy that fulfills Antenna’s mission.
- Own the multi-product roadmap, making disciplined, data-informed investment decisions based on market analysis, customer research, and competitive intelligence.
- Become the company’s expert on our market and customers, ensuring our strategy solves their most critical problems and positions us to win.
- Execution and Go-to-Market
- Translate the high-level strategy into an actionable roadmap, empowering our Engineering, Data Science, and Data Operations teams with the clarity they need to build and ship world-class data products.
- Establish a lean but effective operating cadence to drive alignment, manage trade-offs, and ensure the rapid, high-quality delivery of features that delight customers.
- Act as the Directly Responsible Individual (DRI) for hitting our product goals, from initial concept through to market adoption and iteration.
- Collaborate with commercial partners to ensure the commercial success of Antenna products.
- Team Leadership & Culture
- Collaborate with and coach a high-performing team of cross-functional product leaders
- Champion the evaluation and adoption of new technologies
- Cultivate a product culture rooted in strategic thinking, deep customer empathy, data-driven validation, and a strong sense of ownership.
- Set the standard for excellence in product management; everything from discovery and validation to writing specs and measuring results.
Who You Are
- 10+ years of experience in Product Management with a successful track record in senior leadership and management
- You have a proven track record of shipping successful data analytic products that solve complex customer problems and create significant business value.
- Expert in how to successfully launch innovative data products, lead fast-growing product teams, and collaborate with founding teams.
- Expert in creating and developing scaling product development processes and methodologies (ex: agile, kanban) that increase velocity without creating bureaucracy
- Experience building, managing, and mentoring high-performing product teams, with a passion for developing talent.
- Exceptional communication, storytelling, and influencing skills; you can inspire and align everyone from an engineer to a board member around a shared vision.
- A highly strategic and analytical mindset, with the ability to move seamlessly between strategic planning and tactical details when needed.
- You have a deep interest and/or experience in the media and entertainment landscape. And, you thrive in fast-paced, feedback-driven environments.
Compensation:
Total annual earnings range from $200,000 – $275,000. In addition, our incoming VP, Product Management is eligible for company equity. The final compensation will be determined after evaluating a candidate’s experience, skills, etc.
