Why This Role Exists
Once a school becomes a Skillify partner, the real work begins—ensuring students have an unforgettable experience and schools renew year after year. As a Student Success Coach, you’ll be the face of Skillify at student conferences, inspiring hundreds of students at a time, supporting teachers in program implementation, and coaching students to follow through on opportunities.
This role is perfect for a charismatic, detail-obsessed people person—someone who thrives on public speaking, logistics, and building relationships. Whether you’ve led student organizations, coached a team, or facilitated large events, you’ll bring energy and structure to make Skillify programs shine.
What You’ll Do
- Lead Student Conferences: Facilitate in-person events that engage, energize, and guide 30–100+ students at a time.
- Coach Students: Provide motivation, structure, and accountability through workshops, group coaching, and text/email follow-up.
- Support Teachers & Schools: Partner with educators to ensure smooth implementation and alignment with school goals.
- Own Program Logistics: Coordinate travel, scheduling, and event details with precision, ensuring every touchpoint runs seamlessly.
- Track Outcomes: Monitor student engagement and program milestones using our internal product, Slack, Google Suite, and Pipedrive.
- Drive Renewals: Help ensure schools see impact and continue partnering with Skillify year after year.

- You can balance high-energy student coaching with behind-the-scenes operations.
- You’re adaptable, thrive in fast-moving environments, and enjoy solving problems on the fly.
- You’re comfortable with technology (AI tools, CRMs, spreadsheets) and learning new systems quickly.
- You love to travel (3–4x/month)
Nice-to-Have:
- Leadership experience in student government, residence life, orientation leader programs, athletics, or large student orgs.
- Experience with event logistics, program coordination, or customer success.
Compensation:
- Base Salary + Performance Bonus: Renewal-impact bonuses for every school in your portfolio that renews or expands
- On-Target Earnings (OTE): ~$90,000+ in your first year if retention and renewal targets are met
