We are seeking an experienced and capable Software Engineer to be a leader on our growing technical team and take ownership of development of our platform.

Role Overview

We are looking for a driven Software Engineer, who will work on our growing engineering team to lead the design and development of our core platform. This role requires full-stack experience, particularly in React, Node and PostgreSQL. You should be comfortable working on both front-end and back-end development, bringing technical skills as well as curiosity and ownership.

This role is ideal for a hands-on engineer who thrives in an customer driven, high growth, collaborative environment. You will work closely with our small engineering team to deliver quickly on our business objectives, ensuring efficient, scalable, and innovative solutions. You’ll also work directly with customers to create new experiences and drive innovation.

Key Responsibilities

• Delivery: Take on ambiguous features and deliver well tested software that is customer driven.
• Platform Development: Work in a cutting edge AWS serverless environment to deliver first class experiences for customers.
• Full-stack Development: Actively engage in both front-end and back-end development in Typescript, React and Node, ensuring comprehensive technical solutions.
• Collaboration: Partner with other departments (product, design, operations) to align technical strategy with business objectives and ensure smooth cross-functional delivery.

Key Qualifications

• Experience: 2+ years in software engineering delivering customer facing applications
• Technical Experience: Typescript, React, Node, and PostgreSQL
• Customer focused
• High ownership and ability to deliver great results from ambiguous requirements
• Ability to balance trade offs between delivery speed and maintaining a high standard for quality
• Communication Skills: Able to collaborate well in a diverse team, good verbal and written communication skills for a remote team.
• Bachelors Degree in Computer Science

• Knowledge of Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery processes.
• AWS Serverless architecture design
