SEO Backlink Specialist

We are looking for an experienced and results-driven SEO Backlink Specialist to lead and execute advanced off-page SEO strategies. This role focuses on acquiring high-quality backlinks, improving domain authority, and driving sustainable organic growth across multiple projects.

This is a fully remote position, ideal for someone with strong outreach experience, proven results, and the ability to scale link-building campaigns.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute advanced backlink strategies to improve search rankings
• Acquire high-authority backlinks through guest posting, niche edits, PR, and partnerships
• Perform competitor backlink analysis and identify growth opportunities
• Manage large-scale outreach campaigns and publisher relationships
• Build and maintain a strong network of website owners, bloggers, and media partners
• Monitor backlink profiles and remove/disavow toxic links
• Track performance and report on KPIs (DR, traffic, rankings, referring domains)
• Collaborate with content and SEO teams to align anchor text and link placements
• Stay updated with Google algorithm changes and best practices

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in SEO with a strong focus on link building
• Proven track record of acquiring high-quality backlinks at scale
• Hands-on experience with tools like Ahrefs, SEMrush, Moz, or similar
• Strong understanding of domain authority, anchor text strategy, and link relevance
• Experience in outreach, negotiation, and publisher management
• Ability to evaluate link quality and avoid spam/toxic backlinks
• Solid understanding of overall SEO (on-page & technical basics)
• Excellent communication and project management skills

Preferred Skills

• Experience handling international SEO campaigns (US)
• Existing network of publishers and backlink sources
• Knowledge of digital PR and content-driven link building
• Experience working with agencies or managing multiple websites
