Senior Web Designer

We’re looking for a Senior Web Designer (Contract) to support the Betterworks marketing team on a contract basis. This role will own the user experience and visual design of our marketing website and digital campaigns, ensuring every interaction is engaging, intuitive, on-brand, and conversion-focused. You’ll work closely with our Senior Web Developer, Creative Director, marketers, and stakeholders across the company to create experiences that turn visitors into pipeline.

What You’ll Do

• Lead UX design for our marketing website, landing pages, and other digital experiences.
• Translate marketing goals and brand guidelines into high-converting, user-centric designs.
• Collaborate with marketing stakeholders to develop conversion-optimized landing pages for campaigns, events, and paid programs.
• Design responsive layouts and components that work seamlessly across desktop and mobile.
• Partner with our Web Developer to ensure designs are implemented accurately and efficiently.
• Collaborate closely with the creative director to ensure a consistent brand experience across all designs.
• Apply UX best practices, CRO principles, and accessibility standards to all deliverables.
• Conduct lightweight usability testing and iterate based on feedback.
• Maintain and evolve a scalable design system for the marketing site.

What We’re Looking For

• 4+ years of professional UX design experience, with a strong portfolio of marketing websites and landing pages.
• Expertise in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD.
• Proven ability to design for conversion optimization and lead generation.
• Strong understanding of responsive design principles and mobile-first UX.
• Experience collaborating closely with developers to bring designs to life.
• Familiarity with HubSpot CMS or similar marketing platforms is a plus.
• Knowledge of accessibility (WCAG) standards and SEO-friendly design practices.
• Strong collaboration skills and comfort working with a distributed team.

   

• Video editing and motion design experience a plus.
