Description of the offer
About the Role
We’re hiring a Senior Product Manager to lead the development of a best-in-class internal tool for our investment team. This person will be the sole product owner, partnering closely with a design lead, research support, and a capable development partner to build a data-rich, highly usable interface. This role requires a rare blend of strategic product thinking, deep executional drive, and fluency in both financial services and modern product practices.
What You’ll Do
- Own the product roadmap and execution of a predictive analytics tool tailored for real estate private equity.
- Act as the primary bridge between investment stakeholders and the development team—translating complex requirements into actionable, elegant product solutions.
- Drive agile ceremonies, prioritize workstreams, and stay ahead of implementation risks in close partnership with our dev shop.
- Create and maintain thorough product documentation, keeping internal teams aligned and confident in your process.
- Make usability a top priority—ensuring maps, data tables, and decision interfaces are clean, fast, and intuitive.
- Lead by influence, commanding respect and trust from highly technical and non-technical stakeholders alike.
What We’re Looking For
- 10+ years of product management experience, with full ownership of internal tools or complex, data-rich platforms
- Fintech or institutional investment domain knowledge is required
- Exceptional stakeholder management skills—especially with senior, non-technical, and finance-facing executives
- Strong documentation, communication, and prioritization instincts
- Hands-on approach to implementation: comfortable owning specs, design details, and dev oversight
- Comfortable getting into the weeds of UX, data modeling, and API behavior with your dev team
- Proven success operating solo as the only PM in high-velocity environments
- Strong documentation habits and a bias for clear, accountable product leadership
- Experience across both startup and enterprise environments, with best practices from both
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with real estate private equity or institutional investing workflows
- Background in real estate private equity, hedge fund analytics, or institutional investment strategy
- Sharp UX instincts, particularly around usability of internal tools with complex data interfaces (e.g., maps, layered data tables)
