The Role
We’re seeking our first technical hire – a Senior Full Stack Developer who will architect and deliver our entire platform from the ground up. This is a founding engineer/architect position with significant ownership and the opportunity to shape the technical direction of a revolutionary conversational AI product.

Key Responsibilities
• Design and build the end-to-end system architecture (Next.js/React frontend, NestJS API backend)
• Implement real-time telephony/video integrations (Twilio, Plivo, Convoso, Daily.co)
• Integrate AI services (Tavus, HeyGen, OpenAI) through vendor-agnostic adapter layers
• Set up scalable infrastructure on PaaS platforms (Heroku, Vercel) with autoscaling
• Build CI/CD pipelines for rapid experimentation and zero-downtime deployments
• Ensure security compliance (HIPAA/SOC 2 readiness, JWT/HMAC tokens, TLS 1.3)
• Lead technical strategy and mentor future team members

Required Experience
• 5+ years building production-grade applications with Next.js/React and Node.js
• Strong expertise with Redis session stores, PostgreSQL, and message queues (RabbitMQ)
• Hands-on experience with telephony APIs (Twilio/Plivo) and real-time WebRTC
• Proven track record with PaaS platforms (Heroku, Vercel) and “scale-to-zero” architectures
• Experience with observability tools (Datadog, Sentry) and structured logging
• Security best practices (JWT/HMAC, TLS, encryption-at-rest)

Ideal Candidate
• Can work independently as the sole technical resource initially
• Comfortable with ambiguity and rapid iteration in a startup environment
• Strong communication skills to work directly with founders
• Experience with AI/ML integrations is a plus
• Leadership experience or tech-lead background preferred
• Spanish language support experience is beneficial
