We’re expanding our platform with a major new product. This represents a significant next step for the business.
The Role
We’re hiring an entrepreneurial Product Manager to lead discovery, definition, and delivery of this brand-new product from first principles through market launch and iteration.
This role is ideal for a PM who thrives in ambiguity, loves talking to customers, and can translate messy, real-world problems into a clear product vision and an executable roadmap. You’ll work closely with engineering, design, and leadership to bring a new product to life—and then evolve it based on real usage and feedback.
This is not a “feature factory” role. You’ll be expected to own outcomes, not just outputs.
What You’ll Do
Customer Discovery & Insight
- Source and interview prospective customers to understand their needs, workflows, and challenges
- Validate assumptions and uncover opportunities through interviews, research, and feedback
- Synthesize learnings into clear problem statements and priorities
Product Vision & Direction
- Help define the vision, scope, and success criteria for a new product initiative
- Translate insights into a clear, actionable roadmap
- Communicate intent, priorities, and tradeoffs across the team
Execution & Collaboration
- Work closely with engineering to plan and deliver product increments
- Break complex ideas into smaller, testable pieces that can be shipped iteratively
- Write clear requirements and acceptance criteria
- Balance speed, scope, and learning as the product evolves
Launch & Iteration
- Support go-to-market efforts and early customer adoption
- Gather feedback from real-world usage and adjust direction accordingly
- Continuously refine the product based on data and customer insight
What We’re Looking For
Must-Have Qualities
- Experience as a Product Manager working on new initiatives or expanding platforms
- Highly self-directed; able to operate independently without constant oversight
- Strong customer discovery skills and comfort leading conversations with users and prospective customers
- Ability to operate effectively in ambiguous problem spaces
- Clear and concise communicator, especially in writing
- Collaborative approach to working with engineering and design
- Bias toward learning, iteration, and continuous improvement
- Comfort using AI tools to rapidly explore ideas, test assumptions, and accelerate discovery and execution
Nice-to-Have Experience
- Experience launching or expanding products into new use cases or customer segments
- Background in vertical SaaS, services businesses, or regulated industries
- Familiarity with Lean, Agile, or Extreme Programming (XP) practices
- Experience working in startups or small, high-ownership teams
- Comfort using both qualitative insight and data to guide decisions
