Responsibilities

• Own features end-to-end: from backend pipelines in Python + AWS to frontend experiences in TypeScript
• Design and scale systems that can deliver personalized prep plans in seconds
• Work closely with product and design to turn user pain points into elegant solutions
• Debug, monitor, and optimize a growing production system
• Contribute to shaping the engineering culture at an early-stage startup
• Build systems that directly impact people’s careers and livelihoods

Requirements

• Proven experience coding in Python and TypeScript/Node.js
• Familiarity with AWS services (Lambda, EC2, S3, RDS) and cloud-native architecture
• Understanding of web frameworks, APIs, and distributed systems
• Curiosity, creativity, and a product-first mindset
• The drive to move fast, learn constantly, and own outcomes
• Experience with personalization, scale, and reliability challenges
