Motion Graphic Designer

A|L Media is an award-winning political media firm working for political candidates and issue-oriented campaigns across the country.  We are hiring a Motion Graphic Artist to join our talented production team. This is a contract position through early November, with the possibility of extension.

 Samples of work are required to be considered.

As a Motion Graphic Artist at A|L  you will participate in the creative process, and help bring ideas and concepts to  life.  As a MGFX, you will be responsible for bringing new ideas to the team, and even better ways to execute needs on a given timeline.

Responsibilities

• Takes initiative and shares creative ideas and inspiration
• Create and/or refine graphic elements for all products including TV, Digital, Print, and presentations
• Collaborates with production staff and account team; works independently, but can also take direction
• Excels at motion, color, typography, composition and imagery, and animation of 2 and 3 dimensional images
• Maintains A|L  workflow and processes; must be organized and detail oriented

Job requirements:

• 3-5 years of experience; this is not an entry-level position
• Expert level proficiency with Adobe Suite programs; After Effects, Illustrator, Photoshop, Power Point, AE Plugins and other relevant motion design programs
•  Excellent communication skills
•  Proven ability to perform in a fast paced environment while handling multiple projects
• Team player, department leader, innovative; self-motivated
• Availability nights and weekends

Additional skills, but not required:

• Editing experience a plus
• Experience in storyboarding
